Bekir Bilbey

He was born in Bursa in 1969. He started his photography adventure in 2000 when he became a member of BUFSAD. He participated in group exhibitions and shows within the association. His photographs were published in the annuals and catalogs of various official and private organizations. In 2005 he founded BUFAT, the first workshop of BUFSAD, with 7 people. In 2006, he opened the workshop exhibition named inns of Bursa. He made presentations of the Dia shows named Portable Lifes and Holy Lands. He worked as an instructor and project consultant in the training units of BUFSAD. He still works in BUFSAD education coordination board. He mainly carries out his work in Bursa and its surroundings.

The photographer questions the concept of ROUTINE in this work, which literally means ordinary, non-diverse, and made in the usual order. It aims to ask the viewers to question the ordinary and the usual by taking the routine moments of people who seem ordinary to its frame.
