At the end of the spring, the highlanders who earn their livelihood with animal husbandry take their herds to more pasture lands by walking miles of roads for months. "Koçer" Nomads, who load their tents on pack animals consisting of horses and mules, travel with their families. They maintain their lives by selling milk obtained from herds consisting of approximately 4-5 thousand small cattle, foods such as cheese, butter, etc., and wool obtained from sheep and goats. Koçers live in the highlands for 5 or 6 months a year.
