Young scarecrows of distant times used to scare birds, windows of houses used to open to wonderful lifes. The aged (today) scarecrows of recent times only make birds laugh. Tired windows are closed and do not allow us to look at inside. They do not want to open up to the world. In fact, everything that is far / near to us is time "shown".
