The "Digital Age" we are in has speed the time up so much that everything that we consider as far has come near with a single button.

Unfortunately, in this age where distances are shortened and access is easier, people are mostly far from themselves. Even when we turn our mobile phones to ourselves and make eye contact with ourselves on the selfie screens, we cannot see this distance at the closest level.

I believe this pandemic process in the world today gives people the opportunity to know themselves despite all its negativities. This self-portrait-selfie work, which I took with my mobile phone while I was closest to myself, during this period of restrictions when we are locked in our homes. It can be evaluated as “The effort to direct the person who is most distant from himself in the world chaos, to a search to know himself”

I know that all people are not really far from each other, and the world will be a much better place when they meet at the closest place / thought / love / respect. Man must first get close to himself for this.
