-"In the Country of the Blind the One-Eyed Man is King"

H.G. Wells

As the sorrows go away, blindness is near...

Instead of making the world more habitable by taking lessons from the traumas, humankind has promised others an eternal life with the system that it dictates that it is absolute correct every time. However, people tends to forget both what happened to them and what they did with the healing of wounds each time. Just as a moving car does not reflect the true size of what appears in the rearview mirror...

The artist in this series lays eyes again what happened in front of natural disasters in Turkey. In order to remember the pain, to learn from mistakes, so that humankind does not forget what they expect from both themselves and someone else in their struggle with nature in the future ... It takes us on an archaeological journey in the depths of our memory by scraping the surface to show what is visible to us, not from the top, but from its intermediate layers, moving the image to a different surface.
