Mardin is one of the poetic cities of the Southeast that gives the impression that time has stopped with its architectural, ethnographic, archaeological, historical and visual values. Mardin, which has been settled in the classical sense starting from the beginning, is an important open-air museum that has been able to combine many buildings related to the period of Mardin, Subari, Sumer, Akkadian, Babylon, Mitanis, Assyria, Persia, Rome, Byzantine, Arabs, Seljuk, Artukids and Ottoman from BC. 4500. It is a fascinating city that does not freeze the past in a single frame and offers a wide range of history to those wandering around its stone streets.
