AŞTİ Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal was put into service on March 31, 1995. It is Turkey's largest bus terminal with two seperated floors for arriving and departing passengers. The terminal operated 24 hours a day, every day of the week, from the first date it was opened to the pandemic period with 81 offices and 240 bus companies,. It was closed for the first time during the pandemic period for 74 days and was reopened on 17 June 2020 with extensive measures.

There are different voices, different stories from each corner; sorrow of farewell, joy of reunion. Some things have changed here as well with the corona epidemic. The terminal has now moved away from its 25-year habits and adapted to the pandemic with the continuous social distance announcements and the information that has now turned into an office that provides HES code service.

The uncertainty and seriousness of this process was tried to minimize the anxiety of the passengers, and rapidly changing rules and precautions were taken. Efforts are being made to overcome the process in accordance with today's conditions.
